Stone Island Benchtop

A stone island benchtop is a large stone slab spanning the kitchen island, typically the largest single benchtop in the home. It's visually dominant and the most expensive individual stone piece. Some builders include stone on perimeter benches but exclude the island, or include laminate on the island while the perimeter is stone.
