What is a practical completion inspection (PCI)?

The PCI is the final inspection of your home before handover. You walk through the property with the builder and note any defects or incomplete items. The builder is then required to rectify these items before you take possession. This is your last opportunity to have defects fixed at the builder's expense, so it's essential to be thorough.
