Introduction
Driveways are one of the most commonly overlooked exclusions from builder base prices. Many buyers sign a contract assuming the driveway is included — only to find it's an extra $8,000–$15,000 to add after construction. Knowing which builders include driveways (and on what terms) is a useful filter when comparing packages.
