Wall hung vanities have a clean, modern look — but they require structural backing installed during construction, making them a consideration to raise with your builder early.

Note
If you want a wall-hung vanity, raise it with your builder during the design phase — before framing. Installing the required wall backing after framing is expensive and disruptive. At design time, it's a minor addition.
