What is Compare My Build?

An interactive comparison platform for home buyers to evaluate builders, plans, and inclusions in their region side-by-side.

Are display villages free to visit?

Yes, display villages are free to visit. No appointment is needed during opening hours. Builder representatives are on-site to answer questions about their display homes.

What should I bring when visiting a display village?

Bring a notepad to record which homes and features you like. Take photos (ask the on-site rep first), and bring your block dimensions if you have them — this helps reps suggest suitable designs.

Can I negotiate prices at display villages?

Display home prices are typically starting points. Use what you see at display villages to compare inclusions and upgrades, then ask each builder for a written quote based on your block and preferred specification.

Do all builders have display homes?

No. Many excellent builders — especially custom, boutique or smaller builders — may not have display homes. Use display villages for inspiration, but compare all builders in your area on Compare My Build before making a decision.

What's the difference between a display home and what I'll actually get?

Display homes often include premium upgrades that aren't in the standard price. Always ask what's standard versus upgraded, and compare inclusions carefully using our builder comparison tool.
